Breath Work Part 3

Hello Friends!

I hope you have had a fantastic week working on your breath and your energies! Do comment below to let me know how its been going!!

Today we explore another aspect of the breath work that I do, this is called square breathing.

It helps us in freediving by getting used to controlled full breaths, holds and exhales.

When doing square breathing you want to be sitting nice and comfortably, with your legs crossed or sitting over them with a nice straight back.

Here, we inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds and hold for another 4 seconds, and as you continue with your practice, you may feel you are able to hold longer, allow your body to lead you when increasing your times. The most important thing being all breaths being the same amount of time or counts

I love that we can wake up our bodies in the most refreshing way, using our breath to fill it and massage our organs!! As soon as you’re comfortable with Part 1, 2 and 3 of breath training, I encourage you to incorporate them all each morning, or whenever you have time, it should take about 30 minutes and you’re well on your way!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this series, I'm looking forward to hearing from you about how your body is feeling through this training, see you next week and have a fantastic week ahead!

Love and Light

Xx
